What data we process, who processes it on our behalf, and how to delete it.

In short

  • We ask before your first recording. Raw audio is deleted after 30 days unless you keep it.
  • We name the AI services that process your speech and text, and what each receives.
  • Analytics cookies wait for your consent in the EU and UK.

Your recordings

We ask for your consent before your first recording.

What happens to your recordings: they are sent to our speech-recognition and AI providers, who process them on our behalf. We keep raw recordings for 30 days so you can replay them, then delete them, unless you choose to keep a recording. Transcripts and scores stay in your account until you delete it. You can delete recordings or your whole account at any time in Settings.

We configure AI vendors so our data is not used to train their models wherever they offer that option.

Data protection baseline: GDPR (users in Europe), PIPEDA (Canada) and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run TCF Trainer. With your permission, we also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used and improve it.

In the EU and UK, analytics stay off until you accept them.

Deleting your data

You can delete recordings or your whole account at any time in Settings. Deleting your account deletes your profile, attempts, recordings and transcripts.
